In order to gain benefits from your Facial Treatment, we advise that you follow the following advice for the best results.
- Drink plenty of water
- Avoid make up for at least 24 hours unless using mineral make up
- Continue with a good skincare routine at home using recommended products.
- Some treatments may require you to stay out of the sun, saunas and steam rooms for up to 72 hours
- Some treatments may require you to avoid active skincare products with contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Beta Hydroxy Acids, Retinol (Vitamin A) and Vitamin C (in low PH Formula) for 3 days post treatment
- For advanced facials including Mesotherapy discontinue Retin A two days before and two days after treatment
- For Mesotherapy DO NOT consume alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment
- For Mesotherapy if possible avoid anti inflammatory/blood thinning medications/supplements for a period of 2 weeks before treatment. This includes aspirin, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, ginseng, St Johns Wort, Omega 3 supplements and Ibuprofen
Contra-indications which may prevent or restrict a facial treatment
- Viruses such as cold sores or warts
- Bacterial infections such as ringworm or blepharitis
- Undiagnosed lumps or swelling
- Pregnancy or Breast Feeding
- Severe Eczema or Psoriasis
- Recent sunburn
- Fever
- High/low blood pressure
- Hernia in the treatment area
- Osteoporosis
- Varicose Veins
- Cancer

Dermalux LED Phototherapy
Dermalux is a non-invasive treatment that harnesses the power of pure light to accelerate the skins natural rejuvenation and repair processes.
This pain free and a very relaxing treatment (it can feel like laying on the beach and soaking up the sun) is clinically proven to treat all skin concerns from anti-ageing to acne and sensitive skin conditions such as rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.
IPL Skincare Therapies
IPL is a light based therapy that works by targeting structures within the skin such as Melanin, Blood and water in the collagen, with wavelengths of light to break down the structure and improve the appearance of the skin. We are proud Lynton Laser users who are the UKs number 1 Laser Company and provider to the NHS. Please note a patch test is required at least 48 hours before your IPL appointment.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a medical technique that involves the injection of small amounts of medication, vitamins, minerals and/or other substances into the skin using fine needles. For best results we recommend a course of 3-6 sessions (depending on client and area) spaced 2 weeks apart. You can expect results to last up to 12-18 months, with a maintenance session every 3-6 months to prolong results further.
