Pre-Care Guidelines for Million Dollar Facials

Following a few simple guidelines before your treatment can significantly enhance your results, transforming a good outcome into an extraordinary one.

Avoid Retinol, Retin-A, Vit A and Exfoliating Creams: Do not use Retin-A or any other exfoliating products for 5-7 days prior to your treatment.

No Sun Tanning or Tanning Products: Refrain from sun tanning or using tanning creams/sprays for at least 10-14 days before treatment.

Laser Surgery and Accutane: If you’ve recently undergone laser surgery or taken Roaccutane (isotretinoin), you must wait at least 12 months after completing Roaccutane therapy before having any microneedling, as your skin will be highly sensitive and prone to scarring.

Chemical Peels or Filler Injections: If you’ve had a recent chemical peel or filler injections, please wait two weeks before undergoing any treatments, including microdermabrasion.

Botox Injections: Wait at least one week after Botox injections before proceeding with microdermabrasion or similar treatments.

Allergies: If you have an allergy to Albumin, the Miracle Mask treatment is not suitable. If you have an allergy to Aspirin then the peel treatments are not suitable.

Waxing and Tanning: Avoid waxing the treatment area for several days before your appointment.

Following these guidelines will ensure your skin is well-prepared for the best possible results.

Post-Care Guidelines for Million Dollar Facials

To optimise your recovery and results after Million Dollar Treatments, it’s crucial to follow these post-procedure guidelines:

Cleanse Gently: Wash your face with a gentle, acid-free cleanser and lukewarm water. Avoid any products containing alpha or beta hydroxy acids, retinols, or Retin-A for at least 7 days. If irritation occurs after reintroducing these products, wait a few more days before trying again.

Avoid Skin Abrasion: Do not use scrubs, exfoliating brushes, or any products that may abrade the skin for 7 days.

Minimize Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 14 days. Continue to wear SPF40 minimum daily.

Avoid Excess Heat: For 72 hours after treatment, avoid excessive heat from activities like heavy workouts, steam rooms, or saunas.

Waxing: Avoid waxing on the treatment area for 7 days post-treatment.

Dermal Fillers and Botox: Wait 2 to 3 weeks before undergoing dermal filler or Botox/Xeomin treatments.

Do Not Touch or Pick the Skin: Avoid picking, scratching, or rubbing the treated area to prevent irritation or damage.

Aftercare Products: Post-treatment absorption is enhanced, so we recommend you follow your treatment with our medi+ skincare range for improved results.

Facial Treatments: Avoid any facial treatments for up to 7 days.

Million Dollar Clay Mask

Million Dollar offer 3 different types of clay mask which your technician will choose from the range on the day of your treatment. The masks include an eliminate clay mask which is formulated for oil prone skin and helps reduce the appearance of outbreaks. A rejuvenate clay mask which is gently exfoliating to improve the appearance of irritated, sensitive skin and any signs of ageing. Finally a radiate clay mask to hydrate and improve any uneven skin tone for a healthy radiate even complexion. This treatment can be combined with Dermaplaning for a 60 minute enhanced Facial for an additional £5 or a chemical peel for £10 to enhance the results

This 45minute treatment includes a lymphatic drainage massage and luxury mask. The procedure aims to increase the absorption of skincare products and diminish fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment stimulates collagen synthesis and creates a healthy glow and a radiant complexion. Dermaplane aims to make your skins surface smooth, youthful and radiant.
